Introduction to Theatre of the Oppressed

New to the Theatre of the Oppressed? Start here! Over a single day, participants will be introduced to the basics of Augusto Boal's Theatre of the Oppressed methodology including Image and Forum Theatre. The workshop will include games and exercises designed to enable dialogue and engender confidence in a group. You can start experimenting with the tools and techniques that you've learnt right away to build up your confidence and get ready to continue your TO journey.

This introductory workshop is aimed at anyone who is interested in exploring the Theatre of the Oppressed's incredible power of harnessing theatre to rehearse and create change. No prior experience is necessary! The workshop is experiential, interactive and hopefully a lot of fun.
